Dr Pothecary grew up in Haslemere and went to school in Cranleigh. After leaving school he studied osteopathy for four years at The British School of Osteopathy in London and then worked as an osteopath in Horsham. In 1993 he started studying medicine at St George’s Hospital Medical School and was awarded the 1996 Sir Wylie McKissock prize in Clinical Neuroscience. He started his junior doctor jobs in 1998 at St George’s Hospital in London and finished them in 2002 at Holbrook Surgery in Horsham. He joined Rudgwick Medical Centre in 2003 and feels very lucky to be living and working in Rudgwick. He is interested in all aspects of health including prevention, diagnosis, treatment and looking after any individual with a medical need.

Dr McKenzie initially trained and worked in New Zealand, then came over to the UK to “see the world”. He worked in various locations in the UK to facilitate this, but undertook some surgical training, and worked for a year in hyperbaric (“diving”) medicine, before moving to complete his GP training in Kent.
Since completing this, he has developed a special interest in diabetes and also performs a variety of minor operations. He also works for part of his week in the local CCG (Clinical Comissioning Group) to help develop the best possible NHS service within the national budget.

Dr Caroline Hart qualified in medicine from the London Hospital Medical College. She lives in Cranleigh and has worked at Rudgwick Medical Centre since 2007. She has a special interest in women's health.
