Dr McKenzie initially trained and worked in New Zealand, then came over to the UK to “see the world”. He worked in various locations in the  UK to facilitate this, but undertook some surgical training, and worked for a year in hyperbaric (“diving”) medicine, before moving to complete his GP training in Kent.

Since completing this, he has developed a special interest in diabetes and also performs a variety of minor operations. He also works for part of his week in the local federation helping GP practices delivery high quality, patient-focussed services for its communities.

Dr Justine Hall (f)


Dr Justine Hall grew up nearby in Godalming and attended Guildford High School before studying medicine at the University of Southampton. She worked in Hampshire and Dorset in hospital roles before becoming a GP partner in Fareham. She moved back to Guildford in 2015 and has been working locally ever since. She has clinical interests in dermatology, cardiology and women's health and has spent the last few years in clinical leadership roles as well as being an appraiser of other GPs in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. She has three daughters and a Romanian rescue dog who keep her very busy.

Dr Taraneh Khalafpour (f)

MBBS, MRCGP, Dip Rheum

Dr Khalafpour trained at the Royal Free Hospital in London. She has worked as a GP partner for twenty years. Her interests are in rheumatology, GP training and medical education.
