MINOR INJURIES
The surgery will deal with some minor injuries if appropriate. It may be that you will be advised to attend a hospital.
CHILD IMMUNISATIONS
These are undertaken by our Practice Nurse. You will be notified when your child’s immunisations are due. However, if you feel an immunisation is overdue, please contact the surgery and we will check your child's records and arrange an appointment if appropriate.
MINOR SURGICAL PROCEDURES
Minor surgical procedures are undertaken by the Doctors after an initial assessment.
CHIROPODY
Referrals are made by the Doctors for children, diabetics, pregnant women, and men and women over 65 with certain conditions.
HEALTH VISITOR

Health Visitor’s Baby Clinic
A walk-in clinic is held at Rudgwick Community Centre (situated at the far side of the cricket field) on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 10.00-11.30hrs. PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO CLINICS DURING JULY AND AUGUST, RESTARTING ON THURSDAY 9 SEPTEMBER 2010.
DISTRICT NURSES
The community nursing team is based at Billingshurst and can be contacted on 01403 783956 between the hours of 09.00-17.00. You may be requested to leave an answerphone message.
MIDWIFE
Please pick up an antenatal information pack and make an appointment at the practice to see the Community Midwife when you are 6-8 weeks pregnant. The midwife will make the necessary hospital referral. The clinics take place on alternate Monday afternoons. The Community Midwife can be contacted at her office at Horsham Hospital on 01403 227017 or you can leave a message on the voicemail.
COUNSELLING/MENTAL HEALTH
There is a Community Team available to assist with a wide range of mental health problems. Please make an appointment with your doctor in the first instance who will make an appropriate referral.
PHYSIOTHERAPY
A limited amount of physiotherapy is available in clinics held weekly at the Medical Centre. If appropriate you will be referred by your Doctor.
ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE USE
You can be referred by your Doctor to a free local service.
SMOKING CESSATION
One to one appointments can be arranged at the surgery with a practice nurse. Please telephone to arrange an appointment. Alternatively, group stop-smoking sessions are held at Horsham Hospital. Please phone 01403 223320 for further details.
